OUR PERSPECTIVE
Airports operate under a dense stack of federal and state requirements — FAA Part 139 certification, AIP grant assurances, TSA security programs, OSHA safety standards, environmental rules, and labor compliance — all while running lean operations teams stretched across daily priorities.
Gaps compound quietly. A documentation shortfall that goes unnoticed for a year becomes a finding during an FAA inspection. A vendor SLA that was never formalized becomes a service failure with no accountability trail. The cost of catching these issues early is a fraction of the cost of catching them during an audit.
I've spent 25+ years on the inside of airport capital programs and compliance functions — building them from scratch, not just advising on them from the outside. That means I know where the gaps actually tend to hide.
HOW I CAN HELP
01
A structured review of your current program against the applicable regulatory framework — FAA Part 139, AIP, TSA, OSHA, or environmental — with a prioritized report on what needs attention before an inspector finds it first.
02
SOPs, policy manuals, and quality management systems built to hold up under audit, not just satisfy a checklist. I've built these programs at the airport level, so I know what documentation actually needs to say.
03
A standing resource for compliance questions, document review, and program guidance — without the overhead of a full-time hire. Available on retainer or project basis.
ABOUT

Erik R. Treudt
MBA, AAE, IACE
Erik Treudt is an aviation program management and regulatory compliance executive with 25+ years leading complex, large-scale airport capital improvement programs — terminal developments, airfield projects, and landside infrastructure — from inception through close-out, alongside FAA/TSA/OSHA/environmental compliance governance.
His work spans FAA Part 139 certification, AIP grant assurances, TSA security program compliance, OSHA workplace safety, EPA/FDEP environmental requirements, DBE/ACDBE procurement compliance, and Davis-Bacon labor standards — built and managed as an airport operator, not just advised on as an outside consultant.
Through ERT Aviation LLC, he now brings that operator's perspective to airports and aviation organizations that need a capital program or compliance function built, audited, or strengthened.
